St. John Vianney School,
Gwalior
St. John Vianney School land was purchased on 07-01-02 by the Bishop of Gwalior, Rt.Rev. Dr. Joseph Kaithathara. The demarcation was done on 04-05 -02 with the purpose of starting a school in the same year.
Rev. Fr. Biju Chitteth was appointed principal of the proposed school on 13-06-02. A temporary building with two class room ,office and staff room was constructed. The school officialy started on 01-07-02. It had only L.K.G And U.K.G classes. There were only 28 children all together. 16 in LKG and 12 in UKG
The foundation stone was blessed on 3rd july 2002 by Rt.Rev. Dr. Joseph Kaithathara. The work was started immediately after the blessing. The electricity and Telephone was brought during this period. 01-07-03 the school was shifted to the new building. Fr. Biju also started the Nursery class during this year.
Fr. Biju got the school recognition from M.P Board 0n 22-05-2004 with the view of going for the NOC and affiliation to CBSE Board. In the year 2003 the Bishop decided to have the classes up to IV. the total streanth of student is 220.
The school is finacially helped for construction by a parish in Germany called Kirchethumba. We are greatful this Parish may God Bless them.
