St. Maxmilian Kolbe School was opened on 1st July 2000 and the classes were conducted in the priest's house from LKG to Std. II. Both English and Hindi medium sections were held in the morning and afternoon. Fr. Dilip obtained electricity and telephone connections. The school building was constructed in 2000 and the students were shifted into the new building in the same year itself. Bishop transferred Fr. Dilip Nanda and requested Fr. Norbert to take charge of the school. Fr. Norbert remained only four and months. Bishop announced the appointment of Fr. Joseph Palkudy as the in-charge of the school on 25th April 2002. He assumed charge of the school on 10th June 2002. Bishop also send Fr. Chakkalakkal as a helper and companion to Fr.Joseph Palakkudy. Fr. Palakudy reinforced the building as there was some leakage on the roof. Fr. Plakudy requested the Bishop to relieve him from the school due to his health reasons. Rev. Fr. Joseph Chakkalakal succeeded him and assumed charge on 15th November 2002. Fr. John D'Souza was appointed the assistant in indergarh school. The registration and recognition from the M.P Board up to VIII standard ws obtained by Fr. Chakkalakal in the year 2003, May. The name of the school was changed from Kolbe Academy to Kolbe School. The shifting of the high tension wire was done in september 2004. Presently the school has an efficient and qualified staff. During his time , the first floor of the school building was plastered and a computer room was set up. A bird sanctuary was contructed in the school premise for the children to have knowledge about the birds and animals.
