St. Teresa's School, Gwalior

St. Theresa School is a Christian Educational Institution managed by the Fathers of OCD. It is situated in the district of Gwalior in the Diocese of Gwalior

The school was started on 16th July in the year 1996; in view of providing quality education for the children of the locality. Fr. Jose, then superior of the community took a firm decision to start the school.  In 1996 December Fr. Francis Rebeiro took charge as the manager of the school.  in 1998 Fr. Cassian Kachappilly came as the manager and Fr.sebastian Kakkari as the Asst.Manager. October 15th 1998 the foundation stone for the school building was laid by Rt.Rev.Frederic D'Sousa.In 1999 Fr. Sebastian Kakkari becomes the manager.  Sr. Maris Stella and Sr.Aseema (CSST) joined the school. Sr. Maris Stella took the charge as the new principal in 1999.  The school building was blessed in the year 1999 December 22nd. In 2002 Fr. Jose came back to the school as the manager. Fr. Alex Mathew took charge as the principal in 2003.  Fr. Saji Antony took the charge of the principal from Fr.Alex in 2004.  The School recieved a new mangement in 2004 when the provincial appointed Fr.Joseph as the new manager and Fr. Nixon as the new principal.
